From 7 to 13 May 2026 Bartom took part in interpack, the world’s leading trade fair for processing and packaging in the bakery and confectionery sector. It brought its latest enrobing machine to Düsseldorf, made entirely of food-grade stainless steel, with PLC control and an 800 mm belt for industrial plants. The fair also saw the launch of the new Dal Cin Food Processing campaign, “From Silos to Product”, of which Bartom is part.
Interpack is where the global food industry discovers the technologies that will lead the years ahead. For bakery and confectionery companies, the Düsseldorf fair is the place to meet manufacturers, buyers and partners from around the world and to discuss processes, automation, hygiene and efficiency.
For Bartom the 2026 edition had a double meaning. It was the opportunity to present the new generation of enrobing machines live and, at the same time, to share a common vision with the other companies of the group: supporting the customer along the entire production process, from raw material to finished product.

The new Bartom enrobing machine
The star of the stand was the latest Bartom enrobing machine, in the version with an 800 mm belt designed for industrial plants.
The machine was designed to meet the most pressing needs of manufacturers of biscuits, snacks, bakery products and seasonal specialities: an even, high-quality coating, shorter cleaning and changeover times, simple operation and reliability in continuous operation.
With an 800 mm belt, the enrobing machine delivers a production capacity suited to industrial lines while keeping a compact footprint. It is the ideal solution for manufacturers who want to increase volumes or add enrobing to an existing line without reorganising the plant layout.
Entirely in food-grade stainless steel
The enrobing machine on display at interpack is made entirely of food-grade stainless steel. This choice meets three essential requirements: food safety, cleanability and durability.
The hygienic design, with smooth surfaces, rounded joints and no dead zones, reduces product build-up and makes sanitation faster and more thorough. The robust structure ensures stability and precision over time, even in multi-shift production, and reduces the need for unplanned maintenance.
PLC control: precision and repeatability
The machine is managed by a PLC control system with an operator panel. The main process parameters are adjusted from the interface: belt speed, chocolate flow, blowing, vibration and temperatures.
The settings for each product can be stored and quickly recalled. Changeovers are faster and results are consistent, batch after batch. The system also clearly reports any anomaly, so the operator can step in before it leads to waste or downtime.
“From Silos to Product”: the new Dal Cin Group campaign
Interpack 2026 also saw the debut of “From Silos to Product”, the new communication campaign of Dal Cin Food Processing, the group to which Bartom belongs together with Silos&Silos, Alba Equipment and Novaforni.
The campaign’s message is simple and concrete: the group can follow the entire production process, from raw material storage in silos to the finished product. Each company brings its own expertise and, together, they offer the customer a single partner for designing and building complete lines.
In this supply chain Bartom covers the final stretch. Its machines give the product its final look: chocolate tempering, enrobing, decoration, cooling and conveying. This is the stage where the product becomes recognisable on the shelf, and where quality and attention to detail make the difference.
For the customer, the advantages of an integrated approach are clear:
- a single point of contact for the entire project;
- machines designed to work together, with no compatibility issues;
- faster installation and start-up;
- coordinated service across the whole line.

Seven days of meetings and discussion
During the seven days of the fair, the stand welcomed long-standing customers, new contacts and visitors from many countries. Many were keen to see the new enrobing machine up close and to learn how the group’s solutions could fit into their own plants.
The most discussed topics confirmed the direction Bartom has taken: hygiene, automation, flexibility and the ability to build tailor-made plants that grow with the customer’s production.
Thank you for visiting us
We would like to thank all the visitors, customers and partners who met us at interpack 2026. If you could not visit our stand, or if you would like to learn more about the new enrobing machine and the Dal Cin Group’s solutions, contact our team and together we will design the line that best fits your production.
